How to use the pods
- Switch on and warm up — turn on your Nespresso Original machine and let it reach temperature.
- Lift the lever — raise the handle to open the capsule chamber.
- Drop in the pod — place one capsule in the chamber, foil side up.
- Close and select — lower the lever fully, place your cup, and choose espresso or lungo.
- Brew & eject — press the button to extract, then lift the lever to drop the used capsule into the container.

Caffè Borbone capsules are compatible with Nespresso Original Line machines. They are not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo® machines, which use a different capsule format. Most Nespresso machines in Australia are Original Line — if you're unsure, check your machine.
Caffè Borbone capsules contain high quality ground coffee for espresso. A different coffee profile to Nespresso's blends. Many drinkers find Borbone fuller, bolder and more characterful than Nespresso's standard range. They're also better value per capsule
Our Nespresso compatible capsules are plastic, airtight and oxygen-sealed for freshness. If you'd prefer a compostable option, our Caffè Borbone E.S.E. pods are fully compostable — but they need an E.S.E. pod machine, not a Nespresso machine.
Bolder blends carry through milk better. We recommend Espresso Intenso or Crema Classica for a more smoother and gentler apporach with milk
